Amanda H. Curtis, 65, of Lebanon, died Thursday, March 2, 2023, in Lebanon.

She was born Feb. 4, 1958, in London, Ky. to Robert and Loris Raymond Beckner.

On Oct. 21, 1989, she was united in marriage to James Curtis.

Those preceding her in death include her parents and one nephew, Ehron Beckner.

Amanda graduated from Excelsior Springs High School with the class of 1976. Over the years, she worked in several retail stores, including Lowe’s and Kmart in the cash office. She enjoyed cooking and baking for the family and was famous for her homemade egg rolls. She enjoyed traveling and going out to eat with James, especially if she could pick up a new recipe along the way. She was a natural caregiver, always putting the needs of others first, especially her family. She loved them deeply.

She is survived by her husband James Curtis; children, Richard Bordoff and his wife Barbara of Eldridge; Ronnie Bordoff and his wife. Ashley of Lebanon; Randy Tabares and his wife Jessica of Bella Vista, Ark.; Angelina Murphy and her husband Nick of LaGrange, Texas; Taliah Wilkins and her husband Charles of Lebanon; Loris Curtis and fiancee Jesse of Lebanon, and Johnnie Curtis, all of Lebanon; one brother, Robert Beckner and his wife Net Sai of Austin, Texas; one sister, Viola Beckner of Eldridge; 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service for Amanda H. Curtis will be held at a later date. Her body is to be cremated.
