Lebanon High school alumni returned to town Saturday for the dedication of the new Alumni Plaza. The event, which celebrated the 150th anniversary of Lebanon public schools, included a parade with current and present band members, homecoming queens and past parade grand marshals. Following the parade, the new Alumni Plaza at the old Lebanon school campus was dedicated. The columns area pays tribute to the four buildings that once stood on the campus, the Adams, Wallace, Washington and Rainey buildings. Members of the Rainey family came from Wisconsin to attend the event. The plaza includes the steps from the old Adams School, the Adams bell and the ground is covered in memorial bricks bearing the names of students and staff, Alumni Association President Eddie Smith said at the ceremony Saturday.
