Allen Building gets tax credit approval

Posted
A critical milestone was achieved last week for local redevelopment project, Allen Lofts, when it received an allocation of historic tax credits to support the renovation of the former Rice-Stix/HD Lee Building in downtown Lebanon. The tax credits were approved by the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) after the project previously received necessary approvals from the National Parks Service (NPS) and Missouri’s State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). The Rice-Stix/HD Lee Building, currently known as the Allen Building, is located at 200 East Commercial Street in Lebanon and was named to the National Register of Historic Places last year as an initial step in the project’s life cycle.
