It was a surreal experience for wrestlers from all over the southwest Missouri area on June 5 when Alex ‘The Bull’ Marinelli came to Lebanon to put on two wrestling clinics for over 80 youth and high school wrestlers before speaking at the Heart of the Ozarks Future Christian Athlete’s Impact Night on June 6.
Marinelli is a 165-pounder for the National Champion Hawkeyes and is a 3-time NCAA All-American and a 3-time Big Ten champion. He will be expected to make another run at the NCAA championships next winter.
Along for the ride with Marinelli was his wife, Moriah (Director of Wrestling Operations at Iowa), and the voice of college wrestling, Tim Johnson.
