Adrenaline junkie

Jenny Germany has spent her life in the air, flying helicopters for the National Guard and for a hospital

Growing up the daughter of a Navy pilot, Jenny Germany always knew that she wanted to follow in her dad’s footsteps. Germany, a California native who now lives in Lebanon, went from a career flying in the military to flying patients for a regional health care company. Germany grew up in a military family. Her father, Bob Germany, is a retired Navy pilot. She considers Sand Diego, Calif., as her hometown. Germany’s father used to take her out on flights and it was on one of those flights while her father was “doing tricks over a field” she knew she wanted to be a pilot. “Like most pilots, I’m an adrenaline junkie and I basically love having a roller coaster at my fingertips. I love that when you take off and are up flying, the world just kind of melts away and all you can see is just the beauty that’s out there,” she said. For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
