Absentee voting begins

Posted
Absentee voting will be available in the Laclede County Clerk’s office or curbside for any voter who cannot go to the polls on Election Day. Office hours include Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. "Anyone absentee voting need to bring any form of ID, just like they would normally at a polling place. We check that, verify the address and check the reason for absentee voting," said Kylie Doublin of the Laclede County Clerk's Office. "Absentee voting can be done through curbside voting as well this year... We have two signs on Second Street and once you've parked, just call to let us know you're here to absentee vote curbside." For any other questions concerning the ability to cast a vote this coming Tuesday, contact the Laclede County Clerk's Office at 417-532-5417.
