Aaron Matthew Garland, 36, of Hartville, died Monday morning, March 8, 2021, in his home.

Aaron worked as a culinary cook at the Family Café in Hartville,

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Joella Garland and Ruth Ann Sigerson and an uncle, Bruce Garland.

Survivors include his parents, Jeffrey and Mary Garland of Lee’s Summit; his wife, Jaclyn Garland of Hartville; a brother, Jonathan Garland of Lee’s Summit; a sister, Bethany Cross and her husband Tyler of Belton; grandfathers, L.D. Garland of Hartville, and Wilson Sigerson of Nebraska City, Neb.; an uncle, Daniel Sigerson, two nieces, Sabella and Everley Cross, a nephew, Jaxton Cross, cousins, McKenzie and Kurtis, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Aaron Matthew Garland will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Hartville. Burial will be in Little Creek Cemetery, north of Hartville.
