A Buckskin comes home

One of Joel E. Barber C-5’s former student athletes is returning to prowl the sidelines during its football games this season as head coach. Former now current Buckskin Tanner Angst will be the man behind the whistle. Angst said he has learned over the years that connections are everything. He stayed connected to Joel E. Barber and especially the coaching staff since he graduated from there. “I think this connection to the staff and to the school really made this opportunity possible,” Angst said. New Joel E. Barber Principal Kyle Starnes was Angst’s coach when he was a Joel E. Barber Buckskin and gave up the coaching spot to focus on his new role. For more on this story, see the LCR.
