1SGT (Ret) Bossiz Harris, 78, of Waynesville, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, in his home.
He was a retired United States Marine First Sergeant.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Harris (June) of Phillipsburg; three stepdaughters, Cynthia Thomas (Charles) of Phillipsburg; Tarita Mejia of Waynesville and Cookie Harris of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a stepson, Scott Larson of Estherville, Iowa; one brother, Chester Harris of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Dena Harris of the state of Washington; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for 1SGT (Ret) Bossiz Harris will be held at noon Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, in the First Baptist Church of St. Robert. Burial with military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville, under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of St. Robert.
