1SG (Ret) John Michael McCalmon, 69, of Richland, died Sunday, April 4, 2021, in his home.
He is survived by three children, Stephanie Miles of Crocker; Gwendolyn Miles (Shawn) of Dixon; Brock Blakemore (Jane) of St. Louis, and their mother, Ruth Keen of St. Robert; four grandchildren, Joey, Caden, Kekoa, and Jonah; five sisters, Geraldine Bilka of Berkley Springs, W.V.; Judy Hogan of Salisbury, Md.; Beverly Krause (Fred) of Burke, Va.; Frances Bolek of Newark, Md.; and Doris Jenkins of Topsail Beach, N.C.; as well as other relatives and friends.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville, under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of John McCalmon and left at the funeral home.
