1SG (Ret) James “Jim’’ William Brown, 78, of Waynesville, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, in the St. Clair Hospital of Fenton, Mo.

He is survived by his wife Erika Krueger-Brown of the home; four children, Olivia Horton (Robert) of Waynesville; Jonathan Brown (Sandra) of Hutto, Texas; Michael Brown (Jennifer) of the state of Virginia, and Christopher Brown (Jill) of Blue Springs; seven grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mallorie, Raegan, Brittany, Jasmine, Duncan, and Allison; several other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial for Jim Brown will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, in the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church of St. Robert.

Burial with full military honors will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery of St. Robert, under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church of St. Robert.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of 1SG (Ret) Jim Brown and may be left at the funeral home.
