Lebanon Council gives first reading approval to poultry regulations

The Lebanon City Council gave preliminary approval Monday to a revised ordinance that would regulate chickens in the city limits
The Council gave first reading approval to the proposed law. A second reading will be required at a future meeting before the ordinance can take effect.
Newly-elected city officials were also sworn in at Monday's meeting.
