Lafe DeWayne Barnes, 66, of Lebanon, was born Nov. 5, 1957, in Laclede County to Lafe Anton and Luella Wasmer Barnes and died Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in Lebanon.
He is survived by five children, Krista Lowrance and her husband Scott, Jason Barnes and his wife Mackenzie, Cindy Barnes and her husband Kevin, Nathan Barnes, and Caitlea Porch and her husband Brian, all of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his fiancée Dolores Wilkerson of Seymour; also several brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a..m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Community Baptist Church. There is no scheduled burial. His body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
