John Richard Sanwald, 79, of Lebanon, was born Nov. 2, 1944, in LaDue, Mo. to John August and Alice Pauline Dauster Sanwald and died Tuesday, April 9, 2024, in Lebanon. He is survived by three children, John Michael Sanwald and his wife Tonya of Lebanon, Laura Lee Copeland and her husband Bill of Pittsburg, and James Wayne Sanwald and his wife Jennifer of Webster Groves; one brother, Michael Sanwald and his wife Laurie of Lebanon; and a number of grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Tim Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Memorials have been suggested to Lebanon FFA in memory of John.
