JEB says storm shelter gate will now open when siren sounds

The Joel E. Barber (JEB) School District announced Thursday that the gates to the school’s FEMA shelter will now open automatically once sirens sound in the area. Previously, there had been delays in the gates opening during this month’s storms. Some residents said this was an issue during the storm that hit the area earlier this month.
