Despite cuts announced last week by its owner, the Emerson Climate Technologies plant in Lebanon has no plans to eliminate jobs, according to Keith Calhoun, plant manager.
Emerson announced a restructuring last Thursday that will eliminate 2,900 salaried jobs and close several facilities, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. But Calhoun said continued growth was expected at the Lebanon plant.
“I am not aware of any plans in Lebanon other than continued investment in our facility,” Calhoun told the Record Monday.
