The Lebanon City County Monday authorized a new artificial intelligence-based technology tool designed to improve communications with the city’s residents. City Communications Manager Derek Gean told the Council that the Citibot communications system will allow for 24-7 citizen engagement. He said the system is designed to streamline service requests and provide timely customer service through texting and chat features. “This tool will enable our residents to ask questions at any time, submit service requests and automatically direct questions and inquiries to the right department,” Gean said.
