For the first time in school history, the Lebanon High School tennis program hosted a district tournament, according to tennis coach Ron Crowell.

Last Friday, Lebanon competed with Camdenton, Central, Hillcrest, Rolla, and Waynesville in the Missouri Class 2 District 9 individual tournament.

Unfortunately the ‘Jackets did not have any student-athletes advance to the Sectional round, but did have two players earn All-District honors in Zephanie White and Addi Myler. The two also earned All-Ozark Conference honors earlier in the season.

“It was awesome getting to host the district for the first time, and we are thankful for the people that helped upgrade our facility to make it possible,” Crowell said. “We really had a good day. Zephanie and Addi played great tennis all day finishing third in a strong doubles field.”

Champions of the district included Camdenton’s Darby Roam who won the singles fight and the doubles team of VanDenBerg and Fulk from Springfield-Central.

The Lebanon High School girls’ tennis team finished their season with a 10-9 record.

Below are the results from the district tournament:
