It might have been Friday the 13th, but the Lebanon High School football team had good mojo rolling with them as they defeated the Waynesville Tigers on Friday at Tiger Stadium, 35-0.

“I thought our kids played well, and I told them that this is not an easy place to win and we have had some challenging games here in the past,” head coach Will Christian said of the victory. “We played a pretty complete game in all facets ... overall we had a solid performance.”

Through three weeks of the high school football season, Lebanon (3-0 overall) is outscoring their opponents 124-7, and the ‘Jackets’ defense has been lights out, including holding the Waynesville offense to just 120 yards of total offense while the LHS offense went for 359 yards of offense, including 131 yards from running back Quameire Wright.
