As to be expected, things were chippy on the field between two state-ranked teams on Friday night when the Camdenton Lakers bulldozed over the Lebanon Yellowjackets 28-0 at ‘Jacket Stadium.

Lebanon has yet to win back the Highway 5 rivalry trophy since 2016 when they defeated Camdenton, 28-19 at Bob Shore Stadium.

It is also the first time the Yellowjackets have been shutout since 2017 when they lost to Joplin on Homecoming (35-0).

Things started to turn bad for the black and gold in the second half with them trailing 7-0 late in the third quarter.
