Wanda Rose Weaver, 93, of Jefferson City, formerly of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, in Jefferson City.
She was born July 19, 1925, in Winnipeg,  Mo. to Arthur E. and Flora Margaret Allen Lamkins.
On June 5, 1947, she married Thomas David (Ted) Weaver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her infant twin brothers, Clyde and Claude, Victor and Vernon Lamkins, and a sister, Goldia Smith.
After graduating from high school, she moved to Kansas City, Mo. where she went to work for North American Aviation in Kansas City, Kan. building B-25 Mitchell Bombers for the World War II effort. She was a true “Rosie the Riveter’’ because her middle name was Rose.
She became a Christian in 1954, and was a longtime, active and faithful member of Glad Tidings Church. She and her husband Ted pastored the church from 1955 until his passing in 1978.
Survivors include her son, David Weaver (Linda), of Lebanon; two daughters, Stephanie Stiller (Bob), of Jefferson City, and Renee Taylor (Wendell), of Springfield; four grandsons, Dr. Jason Weaver, Nathan Weaver, Scott and Steve Taylor; four great-grandsons, Logan and Lucas Weaver, Hayden and Micah Williams; two great-granddaughters, Catie and Cara Taylor; one brother, Dennis Lamkins, of Springfield; a number of nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
Funeral services for Wanda Rose Weaver were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday,  Feb. 12, 2019, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Burial was in White Oak Pond Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
A memorial has been established to Jackson Church Plant. Checks may be made payable to Arkansas Assemblies of God and may be left or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
