Ronald Lee Hayes, 53, of Lebanon, died Friday morning, Oct. 4, 2019, in Heart of the Ozarks Nursing Home in Ava.
He was born Sept. 10, 1966, in Columbia, Mo. to Lester Lee Hayes and Doris Marie Reid Ritchey, who preceded him in death.
He lived most of his life in the Lebanon area. He bore his disability well and liked riding his scooter around town.
Ronald enjoyed being outdoors where he especially liked fishing and camping. His family was very important  to him and he enjoyed spending time with his sons and granddaughters.
As a child he attended Oak Grove Church and had professed his faith in Christ as an adult.
He is survived by two sons, Kyle Smart and Dillon Smart, both of Gainesville; two granddaughters, Julia and Savannah Smart; several cousins, as well as host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Ronald Lee Hayes were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Burial was in Crossroads Cemetery, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. Visitation was from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
