Patricia Rose Alexander, 88, of Marshfield, died Thursday, May 10, 2018 in Marshfield Care Center.
She was born Oct. 1, 1929, in Satanta, Kan. to James C. and Rowena M. (Morris) Browning.
On Dec. 21, 1950, she married James L. “Jack’’ Alexander.
She was the Marshfield elementary lunch room supervisor for many years.
Pat was a member of First Baptist Church, Marshfield since 1960.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carla Lynn Alexander; five sisters, Nola Kinsella, Hazel Hyde, Betty Shearer, Janice Ward and Joan Blackburn; four brothers, Charles, Tom, Roy, and Bill Browning.
Survivors include her husband, Jack, of the home; a son, Gary Alexander and wife, Julie, of Marshfield; a daughter, Sheri Swadley and husband, John, of Joplin; four grandchildren, Kristen and husband, Joshua, Jamie, Andrew, and Ray and wife, Ashley; three great-grandchildren, Drew, Silas, and Oliver; a brother, Frank Browning and wife, Patsy, of Marshfield, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Patricia Rose Alexander were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2018, at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will in Marshfield Cemetery.
