Edwin F. “Ed’’ Kincheloe, 65, of Falcon, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, in Springfield.
He was born April 19, 1953, in Falcon, Mo. to Adelbert and Delia Huckaby Kincheloe.
On March 5, 1976, he married Sondra Willhite.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Bobby, Ray, Delaine, Billy, Elvin, and Loran Kincheloe; four sisters, Alta, Lillian, Virginia and Darlene; a brother-in-law, Randy Childress, and longtime best friend, Jackie Moore.
Ed was a pastor for many area churches over the years including Union Chapel, Sunnyview, Souls Harbor, Coon Creek, Little Country Church, Porter Chapel and Palace Union.
Most recently prior to his retirement, Ed was a road grader for the county and a tree trimmer.
He is survived by his wife Sondra; two daughters, Misty Lewis and her husband Shannon, of Falcon, and Tracy Stowe and her husband, Josh, of Lebanon; Delaine Cardwell, who they raised as a son and his wife Megan, of Hartville; two brothers, John Kincheloe and his wife Melba, of Kansas City, Kan. and Richard Kincheloe and his wife Debbie, of Lebanon; six sisters, Janie Martinez, of Kansas City, Kan.; Delberta Williams and her husband Jack, of Grovespring; Verna Blair and her husband Wesley, of Lebanon; Hazel Sing and her husband Johnny, of the state of Oklahoma; Junnie McCormick and her husband Jim, of Falcon, and Loretta Sing and her husband Gilbert, of Mexico, Mo.; five grandchildren, Nikole Macomber and her husband Evan, Devin Lewis, Tori Welch, Kaitlyn Welch and Lahni Lewis; one soon to be great-granddaughter, Avery Lynn Macomber; other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral services for Edwin F. “Ed’’ Kincheloe will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Lance Smith and Pastor Kevin West officiating. Burial will be in Porter Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time also on Friday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
