Douglas O. Henson, 63, of Richland, died Monday morning, May 14, 2018, in his home near Richland.
He was born Nov. 30, 1954, in Lebanon, Mo. to David and Gladys Decker Henson.
On Feb. 27, 1999, he married Denise Elaine Bridges.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Doug was born and raised in the Lebanon area and graduated from Lebanon High School. He worked as a used car dealer for awhile and then worked for G-3 Boats for 10 years. After he and Denise were married, they made their home near Richland. For the last 17 years, Doug has worked for Lowe Chevrolet in Waynesville.
He had attended Sleeper United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Denise, of the home; a daughter, Tracy Smith and her husband, David, of Lebanon; a son, Jacob Henson, of Richland; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; his mother, Gladys Henson, of Lebanon; two brothers, Dave Henson and Danny Henson and his wife, Shelley, all of Lebanon, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Douglas O. Henson will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018, in Sleeper United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marsha Vincent officiating, under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
Visitation will be immediately following the service.
Memorial donations to Denise Henson for Jacob’s Education Fund may be left at the funeral home.
