Dora Jean Moser, 61, of Stoutland, died Thursday morning, Sept. 12, 2019, at her home in Stoutland.
She was born Sept. 30, 1957, in Fort Rucker, Ark. to Bennie Frank and Emma June Walker Hardy.
Dora Jean was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Bill Hardy.
She was raised in Alabama and then in various other places as her father was in the military. She attended the University of Missouri — Columbia where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her family, she also worked at the Fort Leonard Wood Army Hospital for a time and then was a substitute teacher in the Stoutland Schools.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Moser, of Kansas City and Kathleen Sheer and her husband, Doyle, of Richland; three grandchildren, Kacon, Karlie, and Finn; three brothers, Robert Hardy, of Austin, Texas; Paul Hardy, of Columbia, and Brian Hardy, of Denver, Colo.
The family of Dora Jean Moser will be holding a private service at a later date under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. Burial will be in Harrill (Simlin) Cemetery near Stoutland.
