Turn around, don't drown: flash flood rescues

Several people had to be rescued from high water in Laclede County Thursday after heavy rains, but no injuries were reported.
Randy Rowe, director of the Laclede County Office of Emergency Management said sometime around 9 a.m. the Lebanon Fire Department, city police and Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted in a water rescue on Highway 32, approximately one mile from South 5 where a man was rescued after driving into high water. No one was injured, including rescue personnel.
