The Lebanon R-3 School Board will use leftover middle school bond funds for roofing work and new doors for several schools.

The board made the decision at a meeting Tuesday night.

Assistant Superintendent Dr. Brad Armstrong said the district used an outside consulting firm to evaluate all school roofs.

“That company gave us recommendations and helped us write the bid spec documents,” he said. “We met with contractors and toured all the roofs and then. they submitted bids.”

He said five companies submitted bids.

The low bids were recommended on all the roof projects and were approved by the board.
