The Lebanon City Council’s decision to sell Nelson Park continued to stir controversy at Monday night’s Council meeting.
Several citizens spoke during the public comments portion of the meeting, most of them opposed to the sale.
Judith Smith told the Council she owned several properties in town, some of them by Nelson Park. She said the city did not give adequate notice of the action.
“I live out there and if I wanted to change something, like put gas tanks out there, I’d have to send letters asking if I could do this,” she said.
