The Lebanon Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of a conditional use permit for a medical marijuana dispensary at 238 S. Jefferson Ave.
The action, in favor of a permit at the   Med-Green CBD Dispensary, came at Thursday’s Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.  A decision on final approval will be up to the Lebanon City Council.
Codes Administrator Joe Berkich told the commission a dispensary has to be 300 feet from a church school or daycare.
“The conditional use permit is required if it’s adjacent to or across the street from a residential zoned district,” Berkich said.
The dispensary location is properly zoned, but is next to a residential district, which is why the conditional use permit is required, Berkich said.
