Eight Lebanon area residents ranging in age from 67 to 83 will fly in a 1942 Boeing Stearman at an event set for Sept. 14 at the Floyd W. Jones Lebanon Airport.

Local Korean and Vietnam War veterans will be invited to take the stick and maneuver the plane, which was used to train military aviators in the 1940s. Each participant will take a 15 to 20 minute flight.
