The Lebanon City Council won't be meeting again until Sept. 25.

The council decided Monday night to cancel the next regular meeting, which would have been held Sept. 11.

Acting/Assistant City Administrator Ben DeClue said he and other city officials will be attending the annual Missouri Municipal League conference in Osage Beach at that time. He told council members there were no crucial business items on the agenda for the next meeting.

"We have cleared the decks and don't have anything ready, hoping you guys would cancel that meeting," he said. "We don't have anything pressing."
