Three rings of acrobats, aerialists, animals and clowns are headed to the Cowan Civic Center Wednesday.
The Carden International Circus will perform at 4 and 6:30 p.m.
Karin Houcke, an animal presenter and trainer for the circus, said they hope the show will encourage technology-obsessed young people to take an interest in the world around them.
“We are very into ‘put down your electronics and pay attention to your surroundings,’ that’s our theme this year.” she said. “Look at the beauty around you.”
She said there will be surprises even for return spectators.
“It’s a brand new show this year, everything has changed,” she said. “It will be something they have never seen before.”
