Gene Dyal, 77, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, in Buffalo.

He was born March 26, 1939, in Palatka, Ark.

On July 16, 1960, he married Shirley Porter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Haley Rose Dyal, and one brother, Joe Dyal.

Gene Dyal was a member of Community Baptist Church.

He was retired from the Road and Bridge District as a truck mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; two sons, Jim Dyal and his wife, Tammy, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Scott Dyal and his wife, Colleen, of Lebanon; one daughter, Julie Leck and her husband, Steve, of Lebanon; one brother, Tom Dyal and his wife, Elaine, of Lebanon; a sister-in-law, Peggy Dyal, of Stillman Valley, Ill.; four grandchildren, Gina Winns and her husband, Cory, Todd Capps and his wife, Heather, Mindi Capps and her significant other, Brad Richardson, and Bo Dyal and his wife, Kristal; six great-grandchildren, Kaleigh, Kenzie, Kierstyn and Kory Winns, Tyler and Lindsay Capps, other relatives and many friends.

Arrangements for Gene Dyal are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
