Tuesday was the first day to vote absentee for the April 2 municipal election.

Anyone who will not be able to vote at the polls on election day may request an absentee ballot from the Laclede County Clerk’s office. The County Clerk’s office will mail out ballots to voters up until March 27.

Alternatively, voters may come into the County Clerk’s office and cast a ballot.

The last day to register to vote in the municipal election is March 6. Any registered voter who has moved here from another county in Missouri or another state must register in Laclede County to be eligible to vote.
